After putting online behind a paywall, the single player would be the only saving grace for the game, and they skimp on it?

Guess I'll skip on the game till it reaches their perceived single player value.

The multiplayer will be free for the first month or so. After that is probably gonna be like 2.5$ month, I mean, I hate to pay online but to pay that a few months to play Splatoon online seems worth. Also, most online shooters have 4-5 hours campaign (if they have campaign) and have a more expensive paywall on consoles, they sell tons and tons.
