If it's your sole gaming device? Absolutely. If you really only want to play Nintendo games? I guess not. But, either way, Nintendo will be compelled to put titles on a machine with a healthy userbase.
You want that new Metroid? A Nintendo console with strong and sturdy sales probably gets you that.
