I guess it depends on how well the Switch performs, I could see a smaller, more portable version of the Switch being released. Making a different console all together would be a disaster though; the whole point of the Switch is for it to be a hybrid and for Nintendo to focus its energy on ONE console, making games for ONE console. Diverging money and resources to another console would kinda defeat the purpose of the Switch, so I could see a 2DS kind of Switch, cheaper and aimed for kids with the goal of it being more portable.
