Even for digital deals, Steam isn't so impressive anymore. I use both PC and PS4/Vita, and usually I look at both Steam and PSN. Steam isn't always the best place to buy digital games, PSN now has some pretty impressive deals every week. It just depends on the game you're looking for.

That's why I said that the good thing about Steam is that you can buy games also in other stores for Steam or buy DRM free games and just connect them with your Steam account to have it in your library. Even if you count only all digital marketplaces for PC who support Steam and not those who sell DRM free games you will find on average many more and better deals as on PSN because that's after all only one single marketplace against PC with a lot of marketplaces supporting one platform with Steam.
