And I swear we got an update recently on Xbox One's estimates by an outside source (like Venturbeat or Forbes) not too long ago. Can't find it.

Thats shipped !!! So a few million PS4s are in stores, the 53.4 Million is sold to customers.

I doubt they got like 3 million PS4's just lying on the shelfs worldwide,especially when entering January. So my bet is that there are more than 54.1 million sold through,as VGC predict.
