If the dock is essentialy the same with a regular charger how the Switch could identifiy the dock and differentiate it from other charger?

It needs a way to diferentiate it or the console couldn't "turn on" the processing for HDMI/USB/Bluetooth 4.1 and turn off the screen, the dock may have a small chip that does nothing more then identify that it is the dock. That is to prevent the screen from shuting off while you are charging it while you play.
