Is it possible yes it is. Is it a feasible hope that they would do it, no. Especially if they are going to wait a few years it probably will not happen. Especially considering such a product would be expensive to make, expensive to buy and the return in power would be minimal since they would have a bottle neck in terms of the port.
It would be better for Nintendo and the consumers in the long run if they release a more powerful version of the switch. (Much like they did the 3DS, DS, and Gameboy lines.) nVidia had already stated that the custom chip they made for Nintendo is scaleable. (Which usually means they can make it more powerful if needed.)
