Gotta love the constant "Nintendo go third party threads". I've been hearing this nonsense for 15+ years, and from what I've heard, it's been like that for years before. The fact is that people want their games. They're just upset that they have to buy another console for it. I can guarantee that if Nintendo put out a console similar to the competition with the same features, online, and games. People still wouldn't buy their console s due to brand loyalty. There has always been a "kiddie" stigma behind Nintendo, that keeps people from buying their consoles. I'd compare it to how kids act in school, they don't want to be different and be made fun of, just like people don't want to be made fun of for gaming on Nintendo. Can't tell you how many times I have been treated like shit just because of the video game system I own, like they think they're better than others because of their choice. But you guys have to deal with it. If you want their games, buy their consoles, just like if Nintendo gamers want uncharted or halo, they have to buy those consoles. |
I never said they should go 3rd party. I said it would be cool. Which it would. I don't care about Nintendo fortunately. They should just make a console that should be able to be a primary console for their fans, not for me. Why would anybody buy a console if there aren't any games to play. Nintendo guys wait months for a game because of lack of 3rd party. All I want is for Nintendo fans to get a good console. I would buy it just to let them know they're meeting standards. They don't even really deserve a "good job" or pat on the back for having an ethernet port, HDD, analog triggers or meeting a generations hardware standards.
