I mean, the more you look at Splatoon 2, the more differences you see. No super weapons return, all the weapons have new meshes, they seem to have adjusted, improved, and added some effects, there's a new singleplayer. So I would just remove Splatoon from that list. And Rayman Legends is a Ubisoft port. So Nintendo only has a hand in 2 ports. I have doubts on Smash and Mario maker. Smash because I think they will focus on Smash 5 and Mario Maker because it won't be nearly as elegant as it was on Wii U. |
i see your point with Splatoon 2, although it can still be debated a bit. and yes Rayman is a third party game, but so is Lego City. my main point is that these are games which are highlights of the Wii U's library that are being ported.
and for Smash Bros, i think its too early for 5. there was a 7 year gap inbetween Melee and Brawl, and a 6 year gap inbetween Brawl and 4. it would make more sense to just enhance what they have already. they could just call Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch, but it would still be in the realm of Smash 4.
