Sounds to me like many aren't trusting the Joy-con controllers and jumping right away to the Pro controllers lol

Maybe it's just imma broke***, but i'd at least give the Joy-con controllers a try first before even considering buying a Pro controller.

If you want to make a second two-handed controller out of just Joycons you will need two Joycons, and the grip.

That is $80 + $15 (or $30 for the grip that charges).

So I assume people are picking up the $70 controller (with a d-pad) over a $95(or 110) Joycon bundle.

You're probably right that players are already looking into wanting a second controller and guess they might as well go with the Pro since it has the D-pad and is cheaper.

Knowing me I will probably get a second Joy-con controller as it can double up as a second and third/fourth controller depending on the games.  *Here's to hoping for a new Mario Party game*
