And you ignore many games that do make good use of these innovations like Skyward Sword, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Warioware, etc.

RELY on these innovations, not USE them in any capacity.

You CAN use motion controls in Mario Kart, you certainly don't need to, infact I believe the majority would agree motion controls is the worst control method available.

My point was that all of Nintendo's major games do not require "gimmicks" or "innovations" to be fantastic titles. Super Mario Galaxy could have still been just as good without having IR pointing or Waggle motions as part of it. There are of course exceptions ot the rule, like some of the ones you listed. Wii Sports at least, but for the most part the greatest Nintendo games aren't made great because of Motion this or Infrared that.

Maybe the majority that didnt play splatoon.(or newer versions of zelda games). Aiming on motion controls is perfect for me. Spend feeling like a stormtrooper on xbox analog sticks trying to aim, and I only started to get it right on gyro motion control.

The other only method that I can manage was mouse on a PC. Also, the best control method (at least for aiming) is mouse. And mouse is nothing more than motion controling a plastic in a table, so is motion control.
