That's fair enough. 3rd party doesn't guarantee success, just like the lack of it doesn't guarantee failure. It certainly gives a console more potential for success though.

You know if Gamecube had Gta3 and Max Payne I may have bought that instead. Also if the first LoZ was TP and not WW. So yeah it had third party but not really the ones I personally buy a console for back in 2000s
