This shows the difference between Japanese presentations and Western-style presentations. Too many people in the western world complained that it was too boring while the Japanese seemed to like it. Japan doesn't do these spectacular Steve Jobs-esq shows. They will at E3 since E3 is an American event, but even then they mostly leave that stuff to their American European subsidiaries. In fact, Microsoft had a presentation in Japan to promote the original Xbox to Japanese developers back in 2001. They thought they did a wonderful job because it was the big extravaganza that we Westerners are used to, but they later found out the audience hated the event because they felt Microsoft was being rude and bragging too much, which is what Microsoft thought they were supposed to be doing.
