But that's just it, it's almost identical, but not exactly alike like the Wii U Pro Controller is to the Gamepad for instance (besides the gimmicks I mean). Proper D-pad, off set sticks, larger inputs, and likely more comfortable overall. For most games I do think the Joy-cons will suffice, but I really don't see myself playing Splatoon 2 with them, and would rather use the Pro Controller in every game and situation it can be used with.
