This sounds all cool and nice, but until we have confirmation, or the mobile app ends up being necessary, it would just have the total opposite effect of what you're describing.

Which is sad, Nintendo should really be more clear on this information, since it's considered mandatory on other consoles and PC. We'll find out soon enough hopefully.
