Having read the article, they say "it appears" as if he tweeted a password and they assume it is his twitter account password; a lot of assuming, but then in the title they don't mind about that little part.
That said, it is possible, why not, but it would be way too absurd. A less absurd possibility, IMO, is that it was just accidental pocket typing.
