The fact remains. Playstation (mainly ps4) DOMIMATES the digital console sales in Japan, especially % Wise to the install base.
There are two main reasons:
1. PS4 has better internal storage.
2. PS4 average player is older and more likely to buy a game digital then a parent, child or teenager.

Nintendo fans do and Vita fans do also. But Playstation fans on ps4 have much better storage and an older playerbase. Hence why they dominate th digital charts.
