3DS's very continued existence harms the Switch, as any resources spent on 3DS from this point onwards are resources that could've been spent on Switch.

That was fast. any final words before we wrap this up. Mine are that Nintendo in my opinion needs to extend its support for previous platforms into the generation like sony does. I mean the wii should have had games coming to it upto 2014. These sort of steps end up being for the better in the long run
