GameCube is a different thing, though. The demand for those to be compatible with Smash is huge, and after what happened with the Wii U it will be even bigger now. Wiimotes, on the other hand, I don't see lots of people caring about. It's a shame, though. I do wish I could just use my Wii U Pro Controller for Smash and stuff, but instead I'm forced to give Nintendo more money if I want to play the game competitively (eh, or I could just get used to GameCube controllers at this point). |
