Will wiimotes be compatible with the Switch?

The only thing I can't do with the wiimote is up-tilt. Everything else I can do just as good as someone with a gamecube controller. I play For Glory, I have a group of friends that I play with (they all use gamecube controllers), and we also have small tournaments every once in a while in my town. The problem is I didn't really get into Melee. I started with Brawl and it just stuck.
