The Switch is primarily a home console right now. I don't think anyone would be surprised to see a successor to the 3DS, but the question is what form it would take. Will it just be a Switch minus the dock and maybe with a die shrink to improve battery life, or a new device with an entirely new form factor? I think the one certainty is that whatever it is will run the same software as the Switch. You can't honestly believe Nintendo is insane enough to go back to making two versions of every game, especially after the havok that approach wreaked on their software output these past few years. |
We are not in disagreement. What you said conforms to what i said.
Though i can clear up, that by using the same engines they make porting simpler. That was always the intent. The "single hardware" thing was completely made up by fans. Its important to distinct what Nintendo said and what they didn't say.
I know american's in particular struggle with such concepts. Not saying you, just in general. Don't even know if you are american.
