There has barely been any marketing, they've been quiet for the most part. They basically just released a short trailer in September and then held a one hour long press conference in January plus some livestreams of their games. That's it.

Not really. In some countries they already have Zelda trailers almost 2 months before the game releases on TV. Plus they advertised the 12th event everywhere. I know it's not as big as Playstation's marketing, but it's enough considering how popular Nintendo still is, and they probably don't want too spend to much on a console's marketing after the Wii U stuff, and pre-orders being sold out isn't really an accomplishment in this case. We'll just have to wait till a few months after it's release to see how well it's recieved.
