Does the Switch have an OLED screen?

What *kind* of IPS panel it is remains to be seen, But the current reports it is semi-decent quality, so likely 8-bit rather than the cheaper 6-bit or more expensive 10-bit panels.

Not the best display technology they could have used, but still allot better than it could have potentially been. Glad it isn't something like AMOLED with a Pentile subpixel layout... At 720P on a 6.2" display the screendoor effect would have been terrible.
