Fair enough.

I really would prefer that VR at home becomes big, more so than in arcades and theme parks though. I would love to see a future where you can buy a VR system for $5,000 that has cutting edge tech, the most percise motion tracking, and industry leading screen tech. I would totally be in the market for that kind of stuf.

I think one day when the technology is better I'd be all for it, like for example having 2 people simultaneously using VR headsets playing on the same console/PC together, that could be pretty cool. Also I think we need far more powerful machines to run the top quality AAA experiences without compromise. And obviously in the future the headsets will be sleeker and therefore more comfortable.

I see a future for home VR but I think it's too soon for me to buy into it for the foreseeable future.

It will be interesting to see where it goes. I think two headsets on one device will be tough. I think mainstream (PS1 level sales) won't happen until we reach 4K/120fps/180 Degree Field of View, and that is going to be another decade before a device can even run one headset at that level.

This is definitly the early days of VR. We are at best at the NES level, if not even further behind than that. It won't take long to reach PS2 levels, and at that point, VR will be the future of AAA games. For those that still don't want VR at that point, things will be good though, because Uncharted 4, The Last of Us level classic style games will be filled by Indies, and they will make some great games.
