That's reassuring to know. I was worried the appeal was mostly to DQ fans. I've only played IX of the mainline games...and that one didn't really have any memorable characters. Or at least any that left an impact.
I guess there was one dude that looked like Tien from Dragonball with angel wings...though I can't remember his name.
