No, no, definitivily not wiiu.

Wiiu had miiverse

Wiiu hard as many ports as possible at launch

Wiiu had free online

Wiiu had multimedia capabilities

Wiiu was coming after a highly successfull console

Switch has nothing of those.

1. I hardly think anyone bought a Wii U for Miiverse and I hardly think anyone won't buy something which lacks it.

2. You mean those ports which were unoptimised, released 6 months after their original release and had missing content and features? However will the Switch succeed without those.

3. You do realise one of the big complaints of Wii U was how awful the online was? Nintendo is only giving us what we asked for with that one. (also I didn't see it affecting the other consoles too much)

4. It didn't have any Netflix etc. at launch either

5. I'm pretty sure the fact that it was the 'Wii' successor was the thing that caused it to fail (especially since people thought it was just a Wii accessory)

So yeah the Switch mostly does have none of those things you mentioned, but thats more of a good thing than bad.
