How are 2 Joycons being $79.99 overpriced when 2 PS Move controllers are $99.99!?

They are the standard controller for the Switch.

That doesn't mean they are the only Standard. And just becase they are expensive doesn't make them overpriced if they are expensive to make in the first place, they are essentially 2 technically advance Wii remotes which would cost the same price.

They are the only controller that comes with the system. What you're saying basically amounts to saying that the Gamepad isn't the standard Wii U controller.

 

But as I said, they are both overpriced.
