Why is it to be expected?, Splatoon didn't exist last gen, Xenoblade was a niche franchise from the start, Zelda and Mario have never interested me, and yet up until the WiiU, all previous Nintendo consoles have had a wide enough range of games to have enjoyed without the stereotypical set. I didn't enjoy xcx, I found it to be a boring grind-a-thon, very reminiscent of a forgettable MMO. I've never completed a single Mario or Zelda title despite trying multiple times, and each time I failed it was through exhaustive boredom , the WiiU was the first Nintendo home console I have regretted buying at launch, and still in a way regret buying now, and from what I see the switch is going to end up extremely similar, in a few years from now I'll likely regret buying it too, but hey, at least I'm buying it to give it a chance. |
It is to be expected because many of Nintendo biggest games are releasing this year, and it is to be expected that the early adopters like those kind of games. It is an educated guess. And it dosent matter if a game is niche or is a new IP, if they are highly rated by gamers, then it is fair to expect that again, early adopters, have an interest in these games, or some of them. And those four games were examples, more games are releasing on the Switch.I actually never expected for you to like all of them, I personally have no strong feeling for Splatoon 2, and thats why I was asking you, a person who wishes to get a Switch, why it is buying a console that basically holds little interest on it.I cant read your mind.
So, back to the conversation, just Sonic Mania? No Sonic 2017?Or yre you waiting for more information on it?
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
