What level of advertisement do you expect for Splatoon 2 ?

I think you overestimate how much people in the west know about Splatoon. And if Splatoon is bigger in Japan, why would they push it less here? Wouldn't they want it to be bigger here?

Well, Splatoon was a huge succes in the West, no doubt, but it was massive in Japan. Specially considering it was on a home console with limited appeal there. A handheld Splatoon is going to be massive, and Nintendo knows it. No way they are going to lose the oportunity to push both the game and the console there. As for the West, I just doubt they are going to push it as much as they did. They were betting a lot with Splatoon back then, but now it's a safe bet.
