I can't really see that happening because if they were going to release a Switch Animal Crossing that soon I think it would have been a part of the Switch presentation for two reasons; the 2017 release date of the smartphone game and because an Animal Crossing announcement would have been perfect for a presentation geared towards Japanese audiences -- probably more so than the Mario Odyssey annoucement. If there are any new 1st party annoucements at E3, I figure they're either going to be for titles slated for the 1st five months of 2018 and/or titles that are western-centric -- then again, this is Nintendo and sometimes they just do things randomly. |
I dont really see smartphone games getting announced like in big presentation. I can see it on Nintendo directs or an AC direct. But yeah, good point there. It needs to be out by the end of 2018 imo.
