Just heard about that! Pretty sweet.
@OP: that's too bad. Netflix would be perfect for Switch. Set it up in tabletop mode and watch a movie with friends on a trip, or catch a quick episode of House of Cards on the commute to work. It's not a deal-breaker but I hope it comes to Switch soon!
