To be frank, I think the real advertising push will come post launch. I'm willing to bet that the summer will mark a huge marketing ploy for the Switch for the holidays. A lot of the people getting it on day one already made up their minds and it would be silly of Nintendo to waste marketing funds on it. I think after online features are outlined (I believe this will be at E3) with more games. Then will be the time to push a huge advertising campaign to get this concept into the minds of the masses.
I get the feeling that the marketing strategy for the Switch after E3 is going to be a totally different ball game. So lets just warm the bench for now.
