It's not a matter of a game, its a matter of a game library. It should never be a matter of a single game because if the console offers nothing else of interest you're essentially saying you're willing to pay over $300 just for that game. After you've beaten that game you're still going to have that console, and it's just going to collect dust unless there are other titles you want to play.

Sure, a single game or game series can help you decide between which game console you're going to buy (for me that was always Metal Gear Solid) but it should never be the sole reason. For me, a console needs to have 5-6 games I know are coming to that platform that I want to play before I'm willing to buy it. That's why I still don't have a Wii U.
