I actually wanted this port for 3 reasons:
1. Fans who skipped the Wii U will have a chance to experience this great game.
2. This brings the Mario Kart community to the current platform quickly, giving the Mario Kart team more breathing room for Mario Kart 9.
3. The battle mode finally emerges and an already beautiful game now sports 1080p at home.
