With the 3DS games ranged in size from 128MB (1Gb) to 4GB (32Gb) with most games at the lower end of those 2 values. wii u from 100mb to about 20GB but most again at the lower end of those 2 values with 1-3GB being typical. Switch has a maximum 16GB (128Gb) cartridge size I believe for launch but most will be much smaller. The new Bomberman game looks like something that could be achieved with a 256MB (2Gb) cartridge size. 1-2 Switch is probably a tiny cartridge as probably is ARMS. It's only the big impressive games that will need large cartridges. Mario 3D world on wii u was only 1.6GB and they'll probably fit Mario Odyssey onto a 4GB (32Gb) cartridge.
The 32GB main memory is actually quite reasonable and if you add a cheap 64GB microsd card you'll probably be covered for a wide range of downloaded games.
