Nintendo owns the IP and created the game. Its a little lazy that whoever was tasked with creating the VC version didn't have a copy to dump the ROM from on-hand, but I'm not really sure how this affects people.

Technically this makes Nintendo a pirate. And I think I will buy Zelda botw and rip it in my PC to play (just like Nintendo I am not doing anything illegal).

Lol, no it doesn't. If you worked really hard to steal something from me, and I took it back and sold it, that wouldn't make me a thief, would it.

But yeah, if you can rip BotW ad you paid for it, do it. Nothing wrong with that.
