the "only a demo" excuse doesn't work when the game comes out in 6 months. The " they didn't have time for Zelda" excuse doesn't work either when just after you prove that they can do it with MK8 There is clearly, big technical limitations with the Switch, if it was 70% the power of a One, it would easily render Splatoon 2 and Zelda at 1080p. Digital foundry themselves said that the games didn't have any Anti Aliasing, which is a sure indicator that the console is already struggeling to render the games we saw. So stop kidding yourselves people. be more realistic. It's underpowered as a home system, as a handheld though, it's truly powerful. |
I'm not saying is 70% of Xone lol, I don't know it and I don't care, But to think BoTW, a game which port started just one year ago and was not made from the ground for the Switch is the correct benchmark for the console is stupid, the Splatoon thing is not an excuse, is a freeaking fact, is a DEMO. I imagine they start with the hanheld mode and when is fine they upgrade the homeconsole experience, and that's what they are probably doing now, so expect more games revealed at lower resolutions than the final product.
