I sort of agree. This gen has been somewhat boring. Most AAA third party games don't interest me at all and it's only until recently with the release of Overwatch and Doom 2016 that AAA has actually managed to turn my head.
I've really been enjoying indies: Freedom Planet and Shantae for example were great fun! Gonna get my hands on Freedom Planet 2 and the latest Shantae once it comes as well as some other indie titles I'm hoping come the Switch's way.
