Nintendo to not have Achievements once again?

How is that different from what you went on attacking achievements for?
That's a "look at what I did" thing just as well, showing people how much you advanced and achieved on it (levels and ranks).

Because I'm not interested in what I did on the game, or touting it to anyone. You're reading entirely too much into that game card.
