In another thread, I said that I didn't see Nintendo fans being overly emotional or whatever. I'd like to take that back. Wow! Some of the posts here...

I actually like Nintendo quite a bit. I'm also a recently converted fan of Jim Sterling. I look forward to his videos nowadays. The video was good. His complaints were valid. I'll judge for myself in a couple of months but, for better or worse, it's Nintendo.

Well tbf, I can't blame them. For years they have had it ragged on them for not joining the other two consoles and what they were doing, but the industry really doesn't need 3 consoles that all act and fofer the same of everything, yet one or both of the other two console followings want that to happen, so really you've got one side who wants things as they are and the other who want them to change and be more like what they already buy into.

I don't really want Nintendo to become an exact replica of the other two consoles, but at the same time I really, really don't like them adopting the same practices as the other two and executing them so badly. Fans need to realize that people will always have issues with their fave company's offerings or general output, but they have to also accept that some people want just a bitch of change to get them on board. I'm totally fine with the base price of the unit itself, but I have major issues with the quality output, the lineup, the online and the peripheral prices as well as game prices to boot.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
