No offence, but I kind of expected you to fully agree with his points and not Jim's. I took a look at the guy's YT channel and saw it chock full of Nintendo this and Nintendo that. You can even see in the background of his video that he's got tons, absolutely tons of Nintendo games, which makes him a very much hardcore devoute of Nintendo. I can't take devouts like that as seriously as I can someone who buys into all sorts of platforms and games. I follow Jim because he isn't tied down to a single platform. Guys like Crapgamer, Jaytechtv and then this guy, all 3 of them are tied to single platforms and sing high praise or rebuke arguments thrown against them, rather than taking it on the chin for what is being said. There are issues with the Switch, that's just how it is, but it doesn't make a good argument to sum those up as "whining", or "non issues" because you don't find them to be an issue. hell I'm on the fence about getting the device myself and yet one person on here already summed up my expectations as being entirely "silly", and yet they have already pre-ordered their Switch and are sold on it, but refuse to understand my view, my issues with the Switch itself. It's like there is no such problem, it's almost like I'm the problem and not Nintendo, and that is definitely not a healthy thought for a fan to have or force on another that doesn't think like they do.
Had you linked a guy that wasn't all completely all over and for Nintendo, it woul have been dandy and even fair/neutral, but instead we've got bias from the very beginning. |
Can you listen to the arguments instead of falling in such a gigantic fallacy? Nah, lets decide if he is right or not going by the number of Nintendo games he has and lets pretend we know the guy, jeez.
I like Jim Sterling but he is being remarkably sensationalist here, many of his points are really questionable, now of course I know thats the part some dont want to hear though, many are very confortable in a false narrative in which everything is going wrong for the Switch and that video is like honey for them.
