For anyone interested in the art of this game, the character designer is Masatsugu Saito. Why does that matter? Well like any time a name is mentioned in a trailer, he has prior works we can look at to get a taste of what to expect. Namely "Expelled from Paradise," the cel-shaded CGI anime movie he designed the characters for.
Needless to say, it looks eerily similar to what we've seen in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. If you're interested in playing this game, and want a preview of how the game will look like - especially in cutscenes, it would be well worth checking out. (Don't watch if fanservice makes you uncomfortable, though. This isn't exactly an art piece.)
