It comes with two HD rumbling Joycons. |
This the same argument I keep having in my head.
1-2-Switch looks like a cheap pack-in game. Easily. Yet it is not. But then I re-look at the tech in the console. Its fantastic.
The fact that we get 2-player out of the box (for most games, likely) and the tech that is in the joycons alone is amazing. Hell, I'm happy they went with built-in batteries, something MS still can't figure out how to do.
I guess I was just too stuck on the idea that it "should" cost $250, regardless of what is actually in hardware. THis is a great peice of tech. Awesome controllers, touchscreen, NFC, likely the best rumble tech in the industry, very interesting IR camera (really want to see what comes of this)... etc.
The more I look, the more I realize $300 is a good price, but definitely a top-end of the value I see in the system. I still don't get the dock. That is really the only thing I am completely at a loss to understand.
