You do realize Nintendo also holds Directs and E3 conferences, right? If they announce everything now some games might get overshadowed. They didn't show what Retro is working on for example, but they haven't released a game since early 2014 (and already started developing a new game a few months before it released), so that new game will be entering the final phase of development. I expect it will get announced at E3 this year and release somewhere in 2018. I also very much doubt that Next Level Games only worked on Metroid: Federation Force for the last 3 years... If so, what a HUGE FAIL lol.

ARMS looks like a glorified version of the Wii Sports boxing minigame IMO, but I'm trying to be less negative so I won't dwell on it.
And yes, I realize Nintendo likes to hold stuff back, but in this instance they really shouldn't, because its not a good look for their first year lineup to resemble the kind of support Wii U got.

I thought so when I saw the reveal. A boxing minigame? What the hell, Nintendo? Then I saw some gameplays and I felt there's much more to it. It was a similar reaction with Splatoon in my case. I'm telling you this because I don't know if you saw some gameplays, if not I think they're worth checking. If you saw them and felt that way, well, there's nothing I can do!
