Come on, they've been generous enough. You don't just get 1, but 2 joy cons included! They could have easily packed in the right one and sold the left one separately. Or a leftie and a rightie sku. (sorry left handed people are real people too) Or none at all, the touchscreen should be enough to get started. (find your own stylus)
You also get 4 times the storage space of the standard WiiU, a dormant piece of plastic to hold the joy-cons together so you don't need to buy a real controller and it even includes an AC adaptor. People that have bought the n3ds should be particularly pleased by this generous move. Then, as a total bonus, there are some nice cords to hang your cat.
Anyway, too bad there's no deluxe bundle, 399 with 128gb internal storage, charging grip and Zelda BotW.
