- The game is 1080p now
- It's portable
- It has a good battle mode now with at least two modes, one of them being my favorite bob-omb blast from Double Dash. They also mentioned there were still some surprises left when it comes to new modes.
- It has actual battle maps, some are remakes and some are new. Much better than battling on race tracks.
- It has new items like the feather and the boo and you can hold two items simultaneously now.
- It has new characters and race carts like King Boo and the Inklings.
- It includes all the previous DLC, so it's jam-packed with content.
Obviously I would have also liked to see new race tracks, but it's not the end of the world. I'll just sell my Wii U and Mario Kart 8 and buy the Deluxe version.
