That is the USB type C I was referring to previously. It is currently used in many phones I believe. The benefit is that it's a nonpropriety charger.

Hmm... the phone ones  usually got a cable that is USB in one end and the entrance that goes on your phone in the other. That is how you connect your phone to the PC for example. I don't see the USB entrance on that one. The image is not zoomed in enough to tell what is in the end of that cable, but its safe to say that the part that connects to the power source is fused with it.

But that adaptor may connect directly to the gamepad. If it does, you can carry it around to charge it. If it doesn't you need to buy one.

USB type C first threw me off when I heard about it too. The phone part you are referring to is in fact USB type C. The USB you are used to can go into an adapter that is typically bundled with the cable.

I don't play Xenoblade so I don't know the history, but I own all of the other games mentioned on Wii U.

Sure folks bitched about 3D World not being a true 3D Mario, but did a lot of people pass on the Wii U because of that?  It was a 93 Meta Mario anyway.  If Wii U's games weren't attractive enough to old Nintendo fans i don't know that these will be that much more.

If you don't know the history, you shouldn't make statments acting like you do.

I can't be bothered looking for sales comparisons and HW sales during launch of those 2 games for this post. The short answer is yes. 3D World started with low reception when revealed and gradually got to good-great. Galaxy was always hyped. Both Galaxy  games are sitting on a 97 on metacritic.

EDIT: Actually pretty mmuch what I couldn't be bothered to say and then some
