All of these console makers are corporations and they are obligated to their shareholders.
Their main purpose is to get as much profit for their shareholders as possible.
Of course they are trying to get as much revenue and profit from their customers as possible.
If their products are in high demand, they will try to take advantage of tht strong position.
If their products aren't in high demand, they will have to offer better deals.
These corporations are not your friends.
But that doesn't mean that the products and services they offer can't be totally worth their price for you.
