the way I see it (especially going by the reveal trailer) is that Nintendo wants to capture an audience which might enjoy their latest iPhones and stuff, but isn't spec conscious and just enjoy the Nintendo fun factor in their traditional and party games without giving a thought to how pixelated it looks upon close inspection - we'll see how numerous and willing to buy-in that audience is pretty soon

I was referring more to the prospect of walking around a city, into traffic, while piloting your 4K, 3D spaceship. That probably doesn't end well lol.

I think they have to target that market, because it's the market they built the NS for. With the rise of mobile gaming, the diminishment of portable gaming, and the decreasing price of more powerful home consoles, I just wonder how big that market actually is anymore.
