Exactly.  You can't really use social media, either, as diehard Nintendo fans are going to be out in full force trying to make it look like it's loved no matter what.  Massive views and thumbs ups.  Doesn't matter if just a week or two ago they were talking about less gimmicks, more power, and price it right.  Now, it's all "$299, more expensive than the much more powerful PS4 and doesn't come with a game, is an awesome price."  "The Joycons are what's going to save Nintendo."  "I don't mind paying for Nintendo's service, even if its poor compared to Sony/MS."  But, the biggest one "IT'S GOT ZELDA!"  Yep, cause Zelda is the game that's always appealed to the masses of casuals is trying to going after, again, and got them to buy Nintendo HW.  Oh, wait...

It helps that Nintendo isn't implementing any negative gaming policies, like MS tried, so your average core gamer isn't going to feel the need to lash out against it. So few thumbs down from people who don't like it or are ignoring it, while massive ones from fans.  Sales are where this is going to be proven.

Yeah, the press also said DS was horrible and later that Vita was gonna be a hit lol

And fans said the Wii U would be huge.  And because it failed the PS4 and XBO had no shot.  So, like I said, sales are going to be the deciding factor.
